Powells are totally quality orientated, they have attained a string of quality endorsements over recent years. The biggest accolade was winning the Motortrader Independent Garage of the Year 2006. This whole of UK award is recognized as the Oscars of the motor trade industry. The business was also shortlisted for the Federation of Small Businesses 'Business Champions award' for Service in 2007. This recognition was particularly well received as it was not limited to the motor trade only, but open to any type of business in the service sector.
Powells were also invited by Bosch to join their quality network of Bosch Car Service sites. This is a highly respected network of superior independent garages all offering the same high standards and all quality accredited by Bosch.
Powells may be a long established traditional business, but it has certainly moved with the times and embraced change and new technology.
Recently having undertaken a bold expansion plan, with additional workshop service and repair bays and a second MOT bay, the site is now able to offer test and service facilities to a whole range of vehicles from cars and vans to light commercial and large campers.
Powells are qualified to service any make of vehicle, even new vehicles still within the manufacturers warranty period, without affecting the warranty.
There are free courtesy cars available or alternatively vans if preferred.
Powells now have their own fast-fit and performance department on-site. Offering a drive-in, while you wait service. There are large stocks of tyres kept on-site and the prices are highly competitive. This department also keeps huge stocks of alloy wheels at unbelievable prices and has a full custom stainless steel exhaust service on site.
Powells also have a full valeting service available that can be arranged with your service or carried our independently.
